Our 16 Hour @ the Barre program will teach you the fundamentals of ballet, Pilates, and weight resistance training that are the basis of a Barre workout. Learn proper cues, postures, form and terminology to create your own unique and challenging Barre class. This course will give you the tools necessary to format your own barre workouts, with tips on music selection too!
Why @ the Barre Fitness?
Barre is a ballet inspired workout that combines dance, resistance training, and Pilates. The moves are low impact but high intensity intervals of strength training immediately followed by deep recovery stretching. Barre classes improve full body muscle tone, lengthen the muscles and help students develop a long and lean physique. Our @ the Barre program will allow you to use your fitness background to make the class your own. You will learn how to structure a class using a simple block format outline, which will create consistency and safety.
