Feeling stressed out? Do you or someone you love suffer from stress? Do you want to learn how to better cope with it?

In our fast paced demanding world, we are faced with stress every day.

We can’t avoid all stress, nor would you want to, a little stress is actually a good thing. It temporarily boosts motivation and concentration, plus it helps keep your mental and physical resilience high.

When stress becomes chronic or goes untreated, it can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, forgetful and exhausted. It can begin to manifest the body causing tight neck & shoulders, trouble sleeping, poor nutrition, headaches, back pain, etc. Chronic stress can create an overactive nervous system, lower your immune system, and break down the body and mind, ultimately leading to Dis-EASE.

This workshop will provide an overview of how stress affects the mental, emotional, and physical health along with discussing common stress triggers. We will explore how the practice of Yoga can act as a solution to manage and reduce stress along with sharing other coping techniques to help you manage stress better.

It will also interweave various yoga techniques including breathing (pranayama), yin / restorative poses (asana), symbolic hand gestures (mudra), and yoga nidra (guided meditation) allowing you to relax your body and unwind your mind while melting away stress.

Essential oils will be used during this workshop. All levels of practitioners are welcome to attend.

At the end of the workshop, you will have a better understanding of how and where stress manifests in your body along with receiving tools and techniques to help you manage stress better.
